今年のスプリングスクールは「春」をテーマに、創造力・探究心・喜びに満ちた学びの一週間となりました。
1日目は『はらぺこあおむし』の読み聞かせからスタートし、虫の歌を歌ったり、カラフルなちょうちょの制作を行いました。午後は外遊びや粘土で虫作りを楽しみ、春の自然を満喫しました。
2日目は音楽と冒険の日でした。音楽ゲームを楽しんだ後、松山こども本の森へ行き、英語の読み聞かせを体験しました。最後はピクニックで締めくくりました。
3日目は雨の日にちなんで虹や春の単語を学び、言葉遊びを通して楽しく復習しました。4日目はイースターがテーマ。卵の種類を学び、本物のゆで卵に色付けをしました。午後にはイースターバニーによるエッグハントが行われ、子どもたちは大盛り上がりでした。
最終日は桜。水に浮かべると開く花の実験や、桜の木の制作を行いました。音楽とゲームで締めくくり、思い出に残る一週間となりました。
The children enjoyed reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar, singing lively songs about insects, and creating colorful butterflies with tissue paper. They explored the outdoors in the beautiful spring weather and used playdough to design their own imaginative “bugs.” Music and interactive games helped build excitement and energy throughout the week.
A special highlight was our visit to the Matsuyama Children’s Book Forest Library, where the children explored books and listened to English stories, deepening their language immersion experience. On a rainy spring day, we reviewed seasonal vocabulary through fun guessing games and hide-and-seek activities.
Easter activities brought great excitement as the children learned about different kinds of eggs, painted real hard-boiled Easter eggs, and eagerly participated in a joyful Easter egg hunt prepared by the Easter Bunny.
To celebrate the beauty of spring, the children explored how flowers bloom through a simple hands-on experiment and created stunning cherry blossom art using paper and paint. The week was filled with laughter, creativity, and meaningful learning experiences.
